Buff Silkies I think are one of prettiest birds. As I am learning about breeding buffs, I understand why they say "Buff Silkies aren't the easiest to breed." I am being real picky in the breeder pen, I only want those with big fat beards and nice crests, let's not forget the all important feet feathering.
Currently I have a HatTrick Buff Roo, as well as a Ginger Red Cockerel in with my Buff hens. The Ginger Red is still pretty young, so we will see what he does.
